Miller Construction Management has provided construction management services for multiple Havertys Furniture locations. These services have included in-store remodels, building conversions, and ground-up construction for over 20 stores across Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Texas. Each location is customized to reflect Havertys’ focus on enhancing the customer experience while integrating the architectural style of the original buildings.

In Columbia, SC, the team was tasked with a major renovation and the addition of a second floor to a 35,000 SF space for a new Haverty's Furniture store. The scope involved comprehensive interior and exterior renovations along with site improvements. A key challenge was incorporating a two-story atrium with translucent glass panel railings to introduce natural light into the store while maintaining energy efficiency.

The project involved creating a two-story atrium surrounded by glass railings that allowed natural daylight to flood the store.
