In 2024, JF completed a comprehensive fuel system remodel and rebranding project for Pic-n-Pac #1 in McQueeney, TX. The project included the demolition of an outdated car wash and the installation of two new fueling canopies, new diesel and DEF tanks, and state-of-the-art equipment upgrades, all while rebranding the location from VP Racing to Valero.

Pic-n-Pac #1 needed to expand its fueling capabilities, enhance customer convenience, and update its branding to Valero. The outdated car wash at the rear of the store had to be demolished to make room for new fueling canopies, and a diesel fuel system was needed to support truck and auto diesel customers. The challenge was to execute this complex remodel without disrupting store operations and to ensure a seamless transition to the new brand.

Our team took on the challenge with a strategic approach. We began by demolishing the existing car wash, clearing space for two new canopies—one for auto diesel and one for diesel ultra-high dispensers. To meet the increased demand for diesel fuel, we installed a new 15,000-gallon Watco diesel tank and a 1,000-gallon poly DEF tank.
The remodel also involved the installation of advanced fueling equipment, including Encore 700S dispensers, a Comdata Site Controller, LSI exterior lighting, and an OPW flex piping system with sumps. Additionally, air/water reels were installed for truck customers under the new diesel canopy. Throughout the project, our San Antonio team ensured that all installations were handled with precision and efficiency.
