New Vehicle Fueling Facility For Marta

Project Overview

The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) plays a big role as part of Atlanta’s regional solution to transportation. MARTA has constructed a new service operations facility with a fueling center in Northwest Atlanta. Jones & Frank provided a safe, turnkey fueling solution by furnishing and installing the vehicle fueling system for MARTA.

The system included (3) 12,000 gallon aboveground rectangular UL-2085 protected tanks for Gasoline & Diesel storage and 4 fueling islands with 5 Gasboy dispensers and aboveground welded steel pipe. To monitor, control and track fuel, a fuel management system was installed along with a Veeder Root TLS-450 tank monitoring system.

This project was successfully completed and is now a reliable local source for fleet fueling needs.
